frequently asked questions

Yes! I offer both physical and digital pet photography gift certificates. Send me a message and I’ll walk you through the simple and quick process.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes! You are absolutely allowed to share your fully edited images on social media. I ask that you please not add filters to your images and Photographer credit is always greatly appreciated. :)

Can I post the photos on social media?

Absolutely! I’ve worked with a wide variety of temperaments and have developed techniques for working with dogs who need more space and/or time to settle in and warm up. If you have any concerns ahead of time please let me know and I’ll be happy to discuss them with you.

My dog is shy/hates getting their photo taken. Can you work with that?

Training can be helpful, but is totally unnecessary for the images we will capture. The majority of the pets I work with are not trained. Even if they are trained at home, all bets are off in the studio. You have to trust me - this is normal, and completely expected - I promise!! Whether your pet is the perfect model, a mischievous diva or a total goofball - it's these unique traits that are the most fun to capture. The best way to get your pet's authentic personality shine through is to let them be themselves with out any pressure from you or me.

What if my pet isn't well behaved?

I have had dogs and cats in my life since I was 2 years old. I can honestly say..."SH@T happens!" no problem. Don't get me wrong, please walk your pet before the session, but I have cleaning products specifically for this purpose. It is a non-issue.

What if my pet has an "accident" in the studio?

NO! Cats, horses, rabbits, birds or any other animals are always welcome! NOTE: You should see our chicken photos :-)

Do you just photograph dogs and cats?

No problem! Many of the dogs we work with need to be on-leash (sometimes for safety reasons). Whenever possible I’ll remove the leash when editing your photos.

What if my dog has to be on-leash?

All images are professionally retouched by our Digital Artist.

Do you offer professional retouching?

Yes, you can definitely be in some of the pictures with your pet.

Can people be included in the pet photos?

All sessions occur in our temperature-controlled home studio.

Where do these sessions take place?

How long will the session last?

I’m normally booked out at least a month in advance. This time period is subject to change depending on the time of year. Fall and spring tend to be the busiest time for photographing pets.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY PET SESSION?
